Your gift has invested in moments of discovery that have completely transformed the energy in our room, proving to every student that their journey as a reader is one worth celebrating!\r\nThe impact was immediate. The fast-paced, witty world of Artemis Fowl and the epic adventures of the Igiby family in the Wingfeather Saga have kept them absolutely captivated. These series offer high-engagement narratives that build reading stamina and critical thinking.\r\nI am thrilled to share that our new library space is now the heart of the classroom. I have posted photos of the library as it is being built with these new titles in the pictures section of our Ðǿմ«Ã½ project page. It is a joy to see them huddled together during our new reading breaks, discussing plot twists.\r\nBecause these books were part of their own \"wish list,\" the students feel a profound sense of ownership and pride. They are reading so much more now, often begging for just \"five more minutes\" when it's time to switch activities. They specifically wanted me to let you know how grateful they are for these new worlds you've opened up for them.\r\nThank you for fueling their curiosity and for being a champion for our young readers.","fullyFundedDate":1764725927780,"projectUrl":"project/student-requested-books-in-fall-part-4/9851987/","projectTitle":"Student Requested Books in Fall, Part 4","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Barrett","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6065952_orig.jpg?crop=310,310,x0,y29&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1565110996335","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/barrett-bobcats"},{"teacherId":6065952,"projectId":9850449,"letterContent":"Thank you for investing in moments of discovery, sparking imaginations, and proving to every student that their journey as a reader is one worth celebrating! The arrival of the Penn & Teller Magic Lab VR, Bill Nye 2 in 1 VR Space & Science set, and the Electricity Snap Circuit set has been met with 'oohs' and 'aahs' from our students.\r\nThis technology has had a tremendous impact. Instead of just reading about science and history on a screen, students are actively immersing themselves in virtual worlds and conducting tangible experiments. For example, with the Snap Circuits, they are building real working electrical circuits, which is a powerful, hands-on way to understand energy and physics. The VR sets transport them from the classroom to a virtual lab with Bill Nye or a magic stage with Penn & Teller, making complex academic content fun and engaging.\r\nBeyond the content, these tools have fostered vital 21st-century skills. Students are collaborating in groups, problem-solving, and communicating their findings, often without realizing they are building these skills.
