With a grateful heart and endless appreciation, my class and I enjoyed all the products funded under our classroom project. Even though we were under strict guidelines that support our New Education System curriculum, we sought opportunities to maximize our use of the therapeutic chairs and seating. We celebrated birthdays and holidays using these products as tools to create a fun learning environment to engage, reset, and find joy in our classroom surroundings. \r\n\r\nThe items funded for rewards to support positive behavior were a win, win in daily routines and transitions. Students looked forward to receiving these fidgets. They were responsible for caring for their rewards and responded using positive behaviors that would warrant them to receive rewards on future opportunities. \r\n\r\nThe next steps are to continue to push toward classrooms that support our students' busy activity and acknowledge these neurological behaviors that go unnoticed or undiagnosed.
