Your support has truly made a meaningful difference for my students, and we are so grateful for your kindness.\r\n\r\nWe are already using the new resources every day. The classroom rug with designated smiley-face spots has been especially impactful. Each student now has their own clearly defined space during whole-group instruction, which has helped improve focus, reduce distractions, and create a calm, structured learning environment. It has been wonderful to see students independently go to their own spot and feel successful sitting with the group.\r\nThe drying rack and art station have also been a huge help. Students are now able to paint and create freely without worrying about their artwork getting smudged or damaged. One of our favorite moments was seeing how proud they were to carefully place their finished art on the drying rack—it gave their work value and importance. The paintbrush station and hands-on activities have encouraged independence, creativity, and responsibility as students learn to clean up and manage materials on their own.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, they were so excited. Many immediately noticed the smiley faces on the rug and wanted to find \"their spot,\" while others were eager to explore the art supplies and new activities. Their excitement and engagement were wonderful to see.\r\n\r\nBecause of your donation, our next steps include continuing structured group lessons on the rug, expanding art projects that focus on fine motor skills and creativity, and using hands-on activities to support learning through play. These resources will continue to support our students academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the year.\r\nThank you again for giving us a peek of generosity and for investing in our classroom. Your support truly helps our students learn, grow, and succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1755559904361,"projectUrl":"project/eldridge-ecse-classroom/9572446/","projectTitle":"Eldridge ECSE Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Eldridge","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10167630_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754863010363","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10167630"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_8291","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":740,"numTeachers":85,"percentFrplEligible":78,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":20,"percentWhite":11,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":59,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"8.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":86.7,"schoolId":8291,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Rhoads Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Rhoads Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/katy-independent-school-district/rhoads-elementary-school/8291"}
