Reading these books has challenged the students to identify words unfamiliar to them. They have used prior knowledge to infer and determine the main topic. Students have gained stamina with their reading as well.\r\n In my classroom, students are given opportunities to go book shopping and are encouraged to read these books entire book. Students read everyday during small group rotations. Students must read for the entire rotation of 15 minutes. They have a book box where they keep their chosen texts for a week and everyday their book box is at their desk. When they are finished their work they are encouraged to read.
