We only had a few headphones that were working - some only with one side working - which bothered many of my students, when they were trying to use them. Many of my students struggle with sensory issues, so only one side working was a \"No\" for them. They cannot handle that. Your help with getting us new headphones allowed me to assign each student their own pair, and now they are the only ones using that pair. The calculators you helped me to get are bigger than the ones we have, and that helps our students to be more accurate when they are completing their work. Each student was able to be assigned their own calculator, also, which, once again, creates ownership of that calculator so that they care for it better.\r\nWe could not have done this without you, so, once again, \"Thank You, so much!\"","fullyFundedDate":1763562748674,"projectUrl":"project/special-education-math-tools/9834863/","projectTitle":"Special Education Math Tools!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McHam","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4818824_orig.jpg?crop=980,980,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1761829563441","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/t-mcham"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_11172","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":456,"numTeachers":39,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":16,"percentWhite":15,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":64,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"11.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":59.4,"schoolId":11172,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about MacKenzie Middle School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"MacKenzie Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/lubbock-independent-school-district/mackenzie-middle-school/11172"}
