After a few calming minutes watching the fish gently float, he was able to return to his group and complete an assignment independently—something that would normally take longer to complete or wouldn't complete it at all because he would shut down. It was such a powerful reminder of how environment truly impacts learning.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we are continuing to build independence and self-regulation skills. Students are learning how to choose the tools they need to support their focus and emotional well-being while working on assignments or independent tasks.
