Some of them even said that they're parents wouldn't have to stress about buying snacks for bit cause now they had snacks that they could eat at my classroom and the other snacks they could save and eat at home. \r\nI am using the snack stock that came in for morning snack allowing students to stop by and grab something to start their day, I have shared some with our neighborhood middle school down the street who also face food insecurity. \r\n\r\nBeing at the biggest elementary school in Plano, snacks and food resources tend to go by really fast. I am trying my best to ensure that the snacks are going to kiddos that need it and that have in some cases no other way to get snacks from their parents. \r\n\r\nI have even made a basket for sweet and savory options for the kids to give them a sense of choice that maybe they dont get at home.
