When students design posters to explain scientific concepts or present group projects, we can now preserve their work and display it around the room. This not only celebrates their efforts but also creates a library of reference materials that future students can learn from. The laminator also teaches students to take pride in producing polished, professional-looking work.\r\n\r\nStudents love seeing their projects transformed from paper into durable, professional-quality posters. The moment their work comes out of the laminator, it feels more \"official\" and worthy of display. Many have commented that it's exciting to know their posters will hang in the classroom long after the project ends, becoming a permanent part of our learning environment.\r\n\r\nYes! Some of my more artistic and detail-oriented students have really embraced the laminator. They take extra care in designing colorful, creative posters, knowing their work will be preserved. Other students who don't always feel confident in traditional assignments light up when they see their visual work displayed alongside peers', and it gives them a boost of pride and ownership in their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1726717338985,"projectUrl":"project/student-work-preservation-and-reward-sys/8639245/","projectTitle":"Student Work Preservation and Reward System","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Londot","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7647563_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1620326768866","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mr-londot"},{"teacherId":7647563,"projectId":9235970,"letterContent":"Thank you for supporting my classroom.\r\n\r\nThe headphones and chargers are making a huge difference in our classroom. With headphones, students can focus better on their individual work without distractions, whether it's watching an instructional video, listening to a physics simulation, or working through practice problems online. The chargers ensure their devices stay powered throughout the day, which helps them stay engaged and productive instead of worrying about a dead battery. These simple tools help create a smoother, more focused learning environment.\r\n\r\nStudents are thrilled to finally have reliable headphones that let them block out background noise and concentrate on their assignments. They also love knowing they can plug in their devices without missing a beat in class. For them, having access to the same quality tools as professionals makes their work feel more important and taken seriously.\r\n\r\nAbsolutely! Several students who struggle with focus have really benefited from the headphones—they say it helps them tune out distractions and feel more confident while working. Others who didn't always have a reliable way to charge their devices now feel less stressed, knowing they can participate fully in lessons and projects. It has been wonderful to see how these resources have leveled the playing field and helped all students stay on task.","fullyFundedDate":1746217386439,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-changes-for-2025-26/9235970/","projectTitle":"Classroom Changes for 2025-26","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Londot","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7647563_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1620326768866","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mr-londot"},{"teacherId":7647563,"projectId":7155930,"letterContent":"The 3D printer and filament are giving my students the opportunity to bring their ideas to life. Instead of just drawing a catapult or trebuchet on paper, they can actually design and print parts, test them, and refine their models. This hands-on process helps them connect physics concepts—like force, motion, and energy—with real-world engineering design. It also encourages problem-solving, creativity, and perseverance as they work through design challenges.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for students is watching their digital designs turn into real objects they can touch and test. They are amazed to see the printer build their parts layer by layer, and even more excited when they assemble their creations and launch projectiles across the classroom. For many, it's the first time they've had access to this kind of technology, and it makes the learning experience feel fun and relevant.\r\n\r\nYes! I've noticed that students who are usually quieter in class have become some of the most engaged during this project. They enjoy working on the design software and troubleshooting the 3D printer. A few students who are interested in engineering or gaming have quickly taken to the technology, becoming \"class experts\" who help their peers with design questions and print setup. It has been wonderful to see them gain confidence and leadership skills through this project.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1683916147063,"projectUrl":"project/we-came-we-saw-we-chunked-3d-design/7155930/","projectTitle":"We Came! Having these tangible, hands-on tools has made abstract concepts much more accessible and exciting for students.\r\n\r\nThe impact is reaching beyond the current class, too. A former student recently stopped by and told me how much he wished he'd had access to these 3D-printed models when he was taking the course—it was a powerful reminder of how meaningful this resource is.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly elevated the classroom experience.
