Through shared activities and creative exchanges, students were highly motivated and curious to learn more—not just about the other country, but also about their own culture and how to express it.\r\nThe instant camera added a fun and hands-on element to the experience. Students loved capturing key moments and sharing physical photos with their peers—it made the exchange feel more real and memorable.\r\nWhat excited them most was realizing how much they had in common despite living in different parts of the world. My students have enjoyed learning about their emotions. They enjoy being able to have a plushie next to them that they can use to show how they are feeling in the classroom. It has allowed them to learn about new emotions such as calm, confused, and confident. In kindergarten it is hard for the students to understand why they feel a certain way. \r\nAlso reading the books have allowed students to make real world connections to their emotions. This has allowed them to gain confidence in and out of the classroom. They have also been able to help other friends understand their emotions as well.
