Students were so excited to open our boxes and discover what is inside. We introduced the Tonies during morning meeting, letting students explore the characters, textures, and voices at their own pace. For many of our learners—who rely on visual supports, repetition, and auditory input—these devices have opened a new door to accessible stories. Instead of waiting for an adult to read aloud, they can independently tap, listen, and re-listen to stories that feel comforting and engaging.\r\n\r\nWe're already using the Tonieboxes as part of our literacy rotations, emotional-regulation breaks, and listening-comprehension lessons. The ability for students to control the volume, track, and pacing helps build independence—something we work hard to foster every day.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our students now have an accessible, motivating tool that meets them exactly where they are. Your donation didn't just provide a resource—it created meaningful opportunities for communication, engagement, and joy in our classroom.
