Your generosity not only created a space where my students can learn together, but also a place where they can celebrate the unique strengths and differences they each bring to our community.\r\n\r\nAt the start of the year, we used Velcro circles on the floor to help students know where to sit during whole-group instruction. It worked, but it certainly wasn't perfect. When our new rug arrived, the energy in the room shifted. Students were excited to gather on the carpet, not just for learning but also for taking a break after snack or enjoying a quiet moment. The scoop seats made it possible for my inclusion students to fully participate on the carpet in a way that supported their comfort and success.\r\n\r\nWith this being the first year of our inclusion program, having a classroom environment that truly supported both my general education and special education students made an enormous difference. Your contribution helped me feel confident in creating a welcoming, inclusive, and safe space for every student who walks through the door.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping make this year such a positive and meaningful experience for all of us.
