The first day the snacks began arriving, their faces lit up and several students even clapped and cheered because they knew it meant they could stay focused and comfortable throughout the day. Having these snacks available has already made a noticeable difference in their ability to transition smoothly between activities and stay engaged during our long and challenging afternoons.\r\n\r\nOne specific moment that stands out happened during a writing block. A student who often struggles with focus quietly asked for a snack, took a minute to reset, and then returned to his seat ready to work. What used to be a moment of frustration became a moment of independence and success. These small but meaningful shifts are happening every day because of your generosity.\r\n\r\nWe are continuing to use the snacks to support stamina during longer lessons and afternoons, including our current unit on poetry. As students dive into reading, discussing, and creating their own poems, the snacks help them stay energized and confident. The next steps for our learners include publishing a small class poetry collection, and these resources ensure everyone has what they need to stay present and engaged.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students this daily support.
