The kindergarteners were so excited when they saw the box brought in and put on our reading table. As I unpackaged the new printer, I was hearing many ideas as what it was and what we would do with it. After setting the colored printer up, I printed off sight words, addition cards and subtraction cards. The kinders ran to get their Candyland game so they could use the brand new cards to play the game. They think they are just having fun Friday early by playing a game but I see kinders practicing reading skills, math skills, cooperation and counting.
