As a Title 1 school, many students do not have access to learning tools like these at home. Having calculators available at school has made a meaningful difference in how they approach math. Students are able to focus on concepts like multiplication, division, fractions, and problem-solving with greater confidence because of the ability to self-check their solutions. \r\n\r\nThe calculators have made portions of their math very engaging and less intimidating. Students are excited to cheer their work, explore patterns, and tackle multi-step problems independently. I have noticed students who once hesitated to participate are now raising their hands and volunteering to explain their thinking. The ability to verify answers immediately helps build perseverance and encourages the to try again when the make mistakes. \r\n\r\nSeveral students who struggle with math anxiety have especially benefited from this new tool. They feel more confident participating in group activities and are willing to take academic risks. Your generosity has helped build not only maths skill but also self confidence and a positive attitude toward learning.
