In a world where it is easier to ignore requests from strangers, you have shown true kindness and care. \r\n\r\nThe resources provided to my classroom have benefited both my students and me. We are able to have discussions around topics that help develop their world view and ability to empathize with others. \r\n\r\nWe use GLAD strategies in our school, and I have been able to do a couple of different activities because of your donations:\r\n\r\n1) students use the sentence strips to improve their paragraph writing abilities. They are currently practicing thematic statements and summaries. The sentence strips encourage collaboration, discussion, and the processing of information. \r\n\r\n2) students recall information better when they have visuals to help them. So, I use the laminator to print photos and hang them in my room. Students read \"Coraline\" and we used the photos for the plot map. Now, we are learning about different traditions and customs in our country. So, we did a US Map and studied four different tribes. The photos helped them grasp housing, location, geography, and clothing. \r\n\r\nThanks again for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1760897995648,"projectUrl":"project/ela-class-supplies/9838180/","projectTitle":"ELA Class Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Smith","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5415501_orig.jpg?crop=255,255,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1729110723471","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5415501"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_69234","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":425,"numTeachers":27,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":2,"percentLatinx":95,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"5 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"15.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":84.0,"schoolId":69234,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Granger Middle School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Granger Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/washington/granger-school-district-204/granger-middle-school/69234"}
