This project allowed us to set up our classroom for Project Based Learning. \r\n\r\nIn our Contemporary Global Issues class, that looked like students conducting projects around human rights, migration, the climate crisis, and activism. Students chose project problems based on their own interests, formed groups, determined what they needed to know about the problem, researched, and then did something about the problem (raising awareness or advocating for change). It was a joy to see students step into the driver seats of their own education. \r\n\r\nThanks to you, each student has their own notebook and folder, and we were able to get up an organizational system in the class for daily work and project work. Thank you for funding the essentials. This was especially important as we have many students who come to our school during the school year, often without any school supplies.
