As these resources were to support several classes at our small school we were able to see students using the white boards to share their ideas and thinking in math class, sew stockings in home ec, and identify music types in band class. \r\nBeing a small school students don't always feel seen or struggle for resources as we don't have the access that larger areas have compared to us. When the students saw the boxes and the multiple trips to different rooms with new materials that were just for them, they were excited and eager to try out their new things. Our home ec students learned about the different parts of sewing machines and the importance of fabric scissors on a project. The math students had a different route of expressing their learning during class and were given choice in their day. We all know how important student choice can be in the effectiveness of learning. \r\nStudents will use their materials in many ways in the upcoming weeks. In our math classes students will be able to demonstrate functions on our whiteboard types and manuever through a station rotation with choice in their displays of work. The honor band students will be able to identify and perform specific pieces depending on the genere of their music choice. Finally, our home ec students have access to the materials needed to have a sewing unit in full so they will be able to learn different stitch types, use different patterns, and scale their projects to fit their needs. \r\nEvery thing that is given to these students is appreciated and used to its fullest as every resources that students have access to is needed.
