We have used the materials we received daily. Students are given in time feedback on whiteboard work and no student goes without markers of their own. The rug that was provided is a nice space for students to sit and work in small groups during partner practice or independent time. The calming colors help keep them focused but shows we care about their learning space. I truly appreciate the sweeper, especially in the fall/winter months when leaves and other debris follow students into class. It keeps the floor clear and the new rug a clean space to rest or work.","fullyFundedDate":1756387054912,"projectUrl":"project/dry-erase-to-learn/9627918/","projectTitle":"Dry Erase to Learn!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Roberts","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6593100_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753139250612","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6593100"},{"teacherId":6593615,"projectId":8757829,"letterContent":"Thank you again for donating Junior Scholastic to our classroom. The whiteboards, whiteboard table with wiggle chair, and graph board have been used daily in class by staff and students alike. We've always worked with personal whiteboards but having more access with markers takes the concern of having enough supplies away so students can focus on the math. The use of the table and graph board allowed more students to show process and get feedback when working in whole group as well as small groups. Many times, working at the table became an incentive for several students, especially before an assessment.\r\n\r\nThe students were most in awe of the table and chair when the materials first arrived. However, they quickly realized they could be the class star directing the class through a graphing problem on the big board. These tools as well as the student held whiteboards and markers are used in all aspects of math and sometimes in science as well. \r\nThank you for this donation as it will serve the students for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1729529118176,"projectUrl":"project/whiteboards-work-for-all-student-growth/8699265/","projectTitle":"Whiteboards Work For All Student Growth","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Roberts","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6593100_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753139250612","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6593100"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_36388","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":693,"numTeachers":37,"percentFrplEligible":43,"percentAsian":10,"percentBlack":10,"percentWhite":46,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":14,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"5 - 7","studentTeacherRatio":"18.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":84.2,"schoolId":36388,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Narrows View Intermediate School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Narrows View Intermediate School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/washington/university-place-school-district-83/narrows-view-intermediate-school/36388"}
