Your donation has been a game-changer for my students and for my teaching practice. \r\n\r\nThe wobble seats have become such an important tool in creating a flexible classroom and supportive learning environment. The kids love them! We use the seats every day, especially during:\r\n\r\n- Small Group Work: When we break into Math Groups and Reading Intervention, the wobble seats are the first ones chosen. Keeping my kiddos moving seems to help them lock in their focus; in turn, our small groups are more productive. \r\n\r\n- One-on-One Time: They have been perfect for sitting down with a student for really quick support and check-ins. Having flexible seating helps keep them engaged and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nBeing able to provide students a flexible seating option has truly become my best classroom management tool. It allows my high-energy kiddos to get that needed \"wobble\" out without distracting others or constantly leaving their spot. I'm able to set a boundary and they can still get that sensory need met!\r\n\r\nI have to share an amazing story with you, I have one student who genuinely used to have trouble sitting in a regular chair for more than two minutes. Now, he asks specifically for the wobble chair during our whole group lessons, and he stays seated and focused the entire time! This has been a huge win-win in my classroom, and it's all thanks to your generosity. \r\n\r\nThis is truly a powerful testament to the impact that your donation has made, and will continue to make in the coming years. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart, for helping make our learning space fun, accessible, and enjoyable for each one of my 2nd grade students. I had a student teacher and she had different requirements and we couldn't read the book. Now that I am back in the seat we are able to get right in and enjoy the wonders of this book that our kids retate to so well. \r\nThis amazing book replaces one that wasn't as relatable to our kids. This story is about a grandma that passes and she sends secret letters to her grandaughter with recipes in it. The kids love reading about her story and then getting to actually make the recipes in the story. Thank you for allowing us to each have a copy of this book. Our Spanish kids can even flip the book over and read it in Spanish. They have helped to enrich our classroom and add the necessary items needed to be organized. This Back to School Must haves list helps me as an educator stay organized and on task. We go through a lot of supplies and now have the extra resources to cover additional supplies. The books chosen will be used to enrich the students social emotional development along with phonemic awareness and literacy. The classroom library is a place that students really enjoy. We read together in whole groups as well as have time for independent reading as early finishers. The prizes and tools selected have been utilized to foster a culture of CommUnity as this year's theme is based off Toy Story, and we will be working to building a community of learners. Thank you for helping me give my students a class filled with resources to develop phonemic awareness, math skills and community. These resources will help fill the gaps in all areas of our classroom & stay organized.","fullyFundedDate":1723694772134,"projectUrl":"project/back-to-school-must-haves/8635838/","projectTitle":"Back to School Must Haves","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Cuevas","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9024904_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1683328141840","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9024904"},{"teacherId":9024904,"projectId":8440164,"letterContent":"Thanks to your \r\ngenerous contributions, our classroom has been transformed with new resources that have significantly enhanced our learning environment.
