I first started this project a bit skeptical of it actually working, especially because I don't have a regular classroom serving as many students as most teachers do. You have given me hope! We are a program that is easily forgotten about, or or been pushed away because I don't serve enough students to receive the financial support.\r\n\r\nYou have refueled my love and passion for what I do. You have also supported the female students that I serve with a little bit of love, encouragement and positive energy. They are making sure to come on time to class to pick out their snack for the day. (they have to be here within a 5 minute time period before the snacks get put away) It's worked wonders!!\r\n\r\nWe are also using our whiteboards daily when practicing math and writing skills. Students are able to use the whitebaords during the day as doodle pads when they are feeling a bit overwhelmed or just need a quick brain break from their coursework. This in connection with the squeeze balls have supported our students be more willing to stay in school the whole school day.\r\n\r\nI am truly appreciative of your support to my small little classroom.
