My 1st graders have been learning about light and shadows. Keeping 25 flashlights powered is usually rather expensive. But not this year, thanks to you and your generosity! We use these binders every day in our class. They are holding up really well. Research shows that repeated reading is a great way to improve student reading. My students practice each day with their fluency passages. They also really love using sand timers to time themselves. \r\n We are using these binders during our UFLI time. Students are divided into small groups based on their current reading ability. Students are able to use their binders for shared and independent reading. The students are really enjoying the practice, and I am enjoying seeing their excellent progress.
