They used their listening skills and their experimental schools to try to find the hidden path of a marble inside their obscertainers. It was a treat to see.\r\nWe are excited to use our blood typing skills after our holiday break as we enter our studies in genetics. Here's hoping we will solve our whodunit lab. My learners enjoyed being junior vampires, I mean, phlebotomists. We created a scenario that they had to type the blood of four victims of a car accident. All jumped right in and went to work in our lab.\r\n\r\nThe students were hesitant at first to touch the blood vials and kept asking, \"where did you get the blood?\" and we kept replying \"have you checked the absence list?\" just to lighten the mood and make them giggle. Once they knew it was safe for testing, we set our sights on finding blood types for all.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for donating to such a great project. This was hands on and then some. It was easy to follow and easy to clean up too! We are so lucky to have great parents and sponsors that were able to contribute to our learning.
