They immediately recognized that these new materials meant more time moving, practicing, and actively engaging during our PE lessons. One of my favorite moments was watching a normally reserved student eagerly volunteer to help demonstrate how to use the ball mower. Within minutes, our class had turned retrieving scattered balls—usually a slow, tiring task—into a fun, cooperative activity. The new tennis balls have already helped us introduce more structured drills and stations, giving every student a chance to participate without waiting for equipment.\r\nThe first day we opened the box, the reactions were priceless. Students cheered, clapped, and crowded around the equipment, thrilled that our small gym now felt more like a real training space. Many of them had never used a ball mower before, and the sense of ownership and pride they showed as they learned to use it was inspiring. What could have been a simple equipment upgrade became a confidence-building moment for the whole class.\r\nGoing forward, these resources will allow us to expand our tennis unit and integrate more skill‑building activities that emphasize teamwork, coordination, and perseverance. We're now able to run rotating practice stations, small-group challenges, and even student-led warm-ups—all because we have enough materials and the tools to manage them efficiently. My students are excited to continue improving their skills and are already asking when they can try new drills they've seen professional players use. Your generosity has truly elevated what learning looks like for them, and we're so grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1764915473837,"projectUrl":"project/for-the-love-of-tennis/9488418/","projectTitle":"For The Love of Tennis","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Calderon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2581708_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1533303216101","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/zzcalderon"},{"teacherId":7189731,"projectId":9769144,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous contribution to our classroom. Our class uses the new, colorful stools so we can fit comfortably around a table for small groups. We love our floor pillows as well. Together, these materials have turned a corner of our classroom into a special place where students enjoy reading and exploring stories.\r\n\r\nWhen we first set up the rugs and decals, the students were very excited. They loved the bright colors, the animals, and the words on the walls. Many said it felt like a \"real library.\" Some ran to the rugs to read right away, while others helped decide where the decals should go, which made them feel proud of the space.
