Each morning, they choose a different STEM activity—building structures, experimenting with balance and motion, or creating their own imaginative designs. It's been incredible to see how engaged they are first thing in the morning, working together and thinking like little engineers before the school day even begins.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, the excitement was immediate! My students could hardly wait to open the boxes and explore everything inside. Their faces lit up as they discovered all the new building tools and pieces, and they were full of ideas about what they could make. The room was buzzing with curiosity and energy!\r\n\r\nMy students will continue using the STEM toys to extend their morning bin activities into small group challenges. They'll work on projects that focus on teamwork, design, and problem-solving—like building bridges, towers, and moving creations. These experiences will help them strengthen critical thinking and collaboration skills while having fun exploring STEM concepts every day.","fullyFundedDate":1754362336811,"projectUrl":"project/building-bright-minds-with-stem-toys/9407393/","projectTitle":"Building Bright Minds with STEM toys!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Vazquez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10043988_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1748293797506","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10043988"},{"teacherId":10043988,"projectId":9379821,"letterContent":"My students and I have been putting the new resources to great use every day! For example, during quiet reading time the book buddies have helped my students stay engaged, organized, and excited to read. The students love walking past the wall and get excited to show their school spirit. \r\n\r\nTheir faces lit up with excitement when they entered the room the first day of school! Many of them excitedly shared that their classroom looked \"BEAUTIFUL!\" It was such a joyful moment to see how much they appreciated the new decor. For some of my students, it felt like a special surprise made just for them.\r\n\r\nThe next step for my students is to use our refreshed bulletin boards as interactive learning spaces where we can display student work, anchor charts, and class goals. This helps students take ownership of their learning and feel proud seeing their work showcased. With the addition of book buddies, we're also building stronger reading routines—students are pairing up with their buddies to practice reading fluency, comprehension, and discussion skills. These next steps will continue to create a welcoming environment that encourages both collaboration and a love for reading.","fullyFundedDate":1748647877183,"projectUrl":"project/good-to-grow-nurturing-hearts-and-minds/9379821/","projectTitle":"Good to Grow: Nurturing Hearts and Minds in TK","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Vazquez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10043988_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1748293797506","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10043988"},{"teacherId":5508287,"projectId":9156358,"letterContent":"Thank you for our classroom enrichment supplies.
