Your gift has truly transformed our reading space and brought much more excitement for reading!\r\n\r\nThe books you have donated have strengthened students' foundational skills such as high-frequency words, decoding new words, expanding vocabulary, understanding story structure, identifying characters and setting, and making inferences. My students have found more excitement in reading books and are now completing Accelerated Readers quizzes independently! Some of my emerging readers are thrilled to have engaging texts that match their growing skills. They are now more confident and show great pride that they can read an entire book on their own. \r\n\r\nBeyond literacy skills, many of these stories have sparked important conversations about kindness, friendship, and problem-solving. Your generosity is building confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of reading for our beautiful children. Your genuine kindness has truly made a positive and meaningful difference in our students' learning experiences.\r\n\r\nMy students were quick to wonder and questions about the unopened boxes. Once I explained to my sweet students that it was for them from a special person and why it was donated for us, they all jumped for joy! They immediately began asking, \"When can we use them?\" \r\n\r\nFor many of them, this was their first experience with hands-on engineering tools. We have already began using the new resources during centers and Fun Friday. The students work together to design and construct. They collaborate, problem-solve, and use critical-thinking skills. It is remarkable for 6 year olds to demonstrate such skills! These hands-on opportunities help them see themselves as scientists, engineers, and creative thinkers. One of my students told me he wants to be an engineer when he grows up!\r\n\r\nBecause of you, our classroom is filled with joy, discovery, and teamwork.
