These items have quickly become more than just \"tools\" or \"rewards\"—they are the fuel for a newfound sense of classroom community and individual focus. The fidgets have helped several students stay grounded and engaged during lessons, while the journals have provided a private, safe space for them to reflect on their daily growth and navigate their emotions.\r\n\r\nThe impact of your donation is most visible in our new attendance initiative. Using the journals you provided, every student has crafted their own SMART goal to track their attendance progress. It has been truly inspiring to watch them take ownership of their education, marking off each day they arrive on time and ready to learn. In fact, the momentum is so high that many students are already looking ahead and brainstorming their next attendance milestones. Thank you for believing in my students and for giving them the tangible resources they needed to turn their goals into a reality.","fullyFundedDate":1766079093673,"projectUrl":"project/fidgets-for-focus-journals-for-joy-rol/9814612/","projectTitle":"Fidgets for Focus, Journals for Joy: Rolling Wellness for Attendance!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bugarin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9213501_orig.png?crop=1592,1592,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1692743518879","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9213501"},{"teacherId":10289744,"projectId":9766187,"letterContent":"Our students have been actively using the materials provided through Ðǿմ«Ã½ in hands-on medical and health science activities. From building flashcards and labeling anatomical diagrams to simulating wound care and practicing documentation skills, these materials have made a direct impact on how students engage with the content.\r\n\r\nBecause our program focuses on preparing future medical professionals, having reliable classroom supplies is essential. Students regularly use the scissors and craft materials to prepare lab stations and create visual learning aids, while the markers are used for labeling models, organizing notes, and completing medical simulations. These simple but necessary tools help transform lessons from lecture-based instruction into hands-on, skill-based learning experiences that mirror real healthcare environments.\r\n\r\nWe are incredibly grateful to the generous donors who made these resources possible. Because of your contribution, we were able to create a welcoming and engaging environment that encouraged students to attend and actively participate in our group. The students and I created a fun Jeopardy-style game focused on strengths at school, real-life scenarios, and building a growth mindset. The activity allowed students to think critically, share their ideas, and support one another while answering questions. They were excited to participate and enjoyed being rewarded for their engagement. It was wonderful to see how motivated they were to come to the group and be part of the experience, which helped increase attendance and participation.\r\n\r\nThe snacks and fidgets placed on the middle table were the first things the students noticed when they walked in they truly could not keep their eyes off them! These items helped create a comfortable and inviting space where students felt excited to join and stay engaged throughout the activity. Having these resources available made a big difference in drawing students in and maintaining strong attendance during the session. Moving forward, our next steps are to continue creating fun and meaningful activities that support consistent attendance and encourage positive classroom engagement.","fullyFundedDate":1770668592758,"projectUrl":"project/stars-for-showing-up/10072112/","projectTitle":"Stars for Showing Up!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bugarin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9213501_orig.png?crop=1592,1592,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1692743518879","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9213501"},{"teacherId":9017936,"projectId":9955881,"letterContent":"Thank you for your support of this project.\r\n\r\nOur Key Club student leader Kimberly started this project back in July, while she was applying for Key Club International's Youth Opportunities Fund Grant. These materials have already made a huge difference. My students now walk into class and see fully stocked whiteboards, disinfected desks, and tissues ready without needing to ask. They dive right into literary analysis, group debates, and peer reviews without being distracted by dried-out markers or messy supplies.\r\n\r\nWe recently did a poetry gallery walk where students moved around the room analyzing different stanzas on wall easel pads. They wrote down interpretations, responded to each other's ideas, and made connections across the room. The new pads made it easy to display their thinking, and students were proud to see their words become part of the learning environment.\r\n\r\nWhen I unpacked the big box of supplies, a few students actually clapped. One of them said, \"YES! Real Expo markers!\" Others rushed to grab a new color or wipe down the boards so we could start fresh. I even overheard a student say, \"I love when everything feels clean, it makes me want to work harder.\" That says it all.\r\n\r\nWe're about to start a Socratic seminar series, where students will use the easel pads and whiteboards to prep questions, track evidence from texts, and map themes across multiple works. These materials aren't just helping us stay organized...they're powering deeper learning and giving students the tools to collaborate confidently.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, we're able to learn in a space that feels cared for, equipped, and full of energy.
