The laminating pouches, ink pads, clipboards, and art drying rack have been put to good use.\r\n\r\nIn my special education resource classroom we use universal design strategies and a variety of mediums to help children access their education. As a result, my classroom requires a variety of different items to help my students reach their educational goals.\r\n\r\nStudents and staff have especially liked the new colorful clipboards that we have in our classroom. My students like to complete their work in different areas of the classroom, and sometimes even take coloring sheets or work outside during the day. They like the new clipboards so much, that it has become a motivator for some to complete their work if they get their \"special\" clipboard. My paraeducators have also been using the clipboards to take data, show work examples, and use for other lessons during the school day.\r\n\r\nThe laminating pouches have been used to laminate student work, visual schedules, and other necessary class items. We laminate constantly in my classroom, and it is vital for us to implement lessons and activities. Currently, we are remodeling our phonics wall to a Disney theme, and have been laminating all of our new phonics cards. The students have been so excited to participate in phonics lessons, because their cards now include Disney characters, movie references, or other items from Disney. \r\n\r\nThe students were very excited to see the new ink pads, and it has reinvigorated their interest in using the stamps to practice their phonics and high frequency words. The especially liked the more metallic colored stamps.\r\n\r\nFinally, we have not used our art rack, but are planning to install it soon.\r\n\r\nWe appreciate everything you have done for our classroom, and please know you have made a positive impact.","fullyFundedDate":1760125309569,"projectUrl":"project/class-supplies-needed-for-special-educat/9798506/","projectTitle":"Class Supplies Needed for Special Education Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Johansen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9195657_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1692418744883","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9195657"},{"teacherId":9523673,"projectId":9937867,"letterContent":"Thank you SO much for your generous donations!
