Because of your support, our classroom now has a Creality K1 3D printer, and it has already had a meaningful impact on our students.\r\n\r\nAt our school site for visually impaired students, hands-on and tactile learning is essential. With this printer, students are no longer limited to flat, paper-based materials. Instead, they can touch, explore, and interact with what they're learning.\r\n\r\nWe have been able to:\r\n\r\nPrint custom tools for our Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support communication and language development\r\n\r\nCreate student-designed fidgets that are now being used daily in classrooms to support focus and self-regulation\r\n\r\nProduce raised, tactile graphs that visually impaired students can use in place of traditional paper graphs, making data and math concepts far more accessible\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is seeing their ideas become real objects. Watching the printer build something they designed and then using it in class has been incredibly motivating. Students who often struggle to stay engaged have shown increased focus, confidence, and pride in their work.\r\n\r\nThis project has expanded access to learning, supported multiple departments across our campus, and empowered students to see themselves as creators. Thank you for believing in our students and helping make this possible.","fullyFundedDate":1746785896359,"projectUrl":"project/layer-by-layer-building-learning-with-3/9301337/","projectTitle":"Layer by Layer: Building Learning with 3D Printing","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Arguello","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10009716_orig.jpg?crop=1155,1155,x0,y65&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746035513908","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10009716"},{"teacherId":9060329,"projectId":9460454,"letterContent":"Thank you for providing my students with brain food to help them remain active and engaged while working on Lexia PowerUp.
