These books outline how to create a robust math community and build confidence for our teachers and students. With these books, our teachers will be able to collaborate and build consistently meaningful learning experiences for their students. \r\n\r\n\"Number Talks: Fractions, Decimals, and Percentages\" outlines purposefully designed number talks in a cohesive order using a research-based sequence for children's brains. Rather than guessing how to support their students, this book will provide the necessary framework for building deep conceptual learning around fractions, decimals, and percentages. \r\n\r\nDuring our most recent book talk, we discussed the difference between teaching students procedures versus learning through experiences. The teachers loved how the book is changing their perception of math and how it is taught in classrooms.
