My class has always loved science and reading groups, but these supplemental resources made them love the lessons even more. Your support made it possible for me to give them the interactive and engaging lessons they thrived on. \r\n\r\nThe supplemental resources from Teachers Pay Teachers had a tremendous impact on their learning. With these materials, I was able to provide hands-on activities that made abstract concepts more concrete, offer differentiated reading passages that met students right where they were, and use scaffolds that helped them build confidence with domain-specific language. Using the supplemental resources students wrote letters to their neighbor explaining why earthworms aren't considered pests, drew the moon phases, and have engaged with the Mystery Science curriculum on a deeper level. These tools allowed me to meet the wide range of learning needs in our classroom so that every student felt supported and capable. Students came to me so excited because they were able to understand reading comprehension strategies because they had a text at their reading level. \r\n\r\nMy goal was to keep their love of learning alive and strong, and your donation helped ensure that each child had the opportunity to succeed in their own unique way. Because of your kindness, my students had access to resources that sparked curiosity, deepened understanding, and empowered them to achieve their goals.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making such a meaningful difference in our classroom. Our shared space is now a calming yet inspiring place to get work done.\r\nThe students absolutely love the fluorescent light covers that give our room a forest vibe. Custodial and office staff are also regularly dropping by to say, \"Wow, I want to work in here for the day.\" The native-inspired pillows are the perfect addition to our class library seating. \r\nFinally, last but certainly not least, those wobble seats! Wow! I did not anticipate how largely the students would react to them. At first, I intended to use them only at my reading table. One day, I offered to lend one to a student who has ADHD as a test to see if it helped him concentrate, and soon, almost every student wanted to trade their boring chairs for a wobble seat. It got to be so popular, I had to devise a system where students could fairly take turns.\r\nThank you again for always supporting our Valley Center school and students.","fullyFundedDate":1755714144478,"projectUrl":"project/nature-nurtures-us/9449653/","projectTitle":"Nature Nurtures Us","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. King","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7298636_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753140838327","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-king-vces"},{"teacherId":6379533,"projectId":9259782,"letterContent":"You are amazing and so appreciated! Students are so thankful for the class supply of chapsticks, I'm sure they'll be even more thankful once winter comes around and they'll need chapstick. The whiteboard markers were also very appreciated in class. We use our class set of whiteboards almost daily, especially during math and so the markers are very much needed. The pencil sharpener was by far the biggest hit in our classroom. It is touchless and works so well! The resources you provided through this project have had a lasting and meaningful impact in my classroom.\r\n\r\nWith your support, my students now have the organizational tools they need to prepare for the transition into middle school. The folders and dividers have been game-changers, helping students practice and develop the skills of keeping their materials neat, accessible, and well-managed. I have already seen students take greater pride in their work and feel more confident about staying on top of assignments—an essential step as they move toward the increased responsibilities of sixth grade.\r\n\r\nThe charging station has also been a tremendous benefit. Many of my students come from households where resources are limited, and being able to leave their iPads to charge overnight at school has given them peace of mind and one less worry. They've learned the responsibility of checking in their devices, ensuring they are charged and ready each day—an important life skill that extends far beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nFinally, the headphones have been invaluable. With so many engaging apps that support reading, math, and other subjects through audio features, students are now able to focus more deeply and access lessons in ways that suit their learning needs. This has been especially powerful for students who benefit from auditory support in their comprehension.","fullyFundedDate":1667617971650,"projectUrl":"project/support-organizational-success/6639029/","projectTitle":"Support Organizational Success","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Poole","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7607365_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1659584257551","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7607365"},{"teacherId":7298636,"projectId":8491249,"letterContent":"Silent and partner reading in our classroom is a beloved and sought-after part of our day.
