Then they researched that animal, did a sketch, and finally painted it on the rocks. The children have loved working with the rocks and paint pens. I have one more group of 3rd graders that will do the project and we will add their rocks to our rock garden bordering the edge around a tree. \r\n\r\nWe may do a school wide push as it has been so successful. Thanks to your assistance, my students now have a safe and comfortable space to learn.\r\n\r\nThe divider has made a significant impact, allowing me to create individual spaces for my students. There is a sensory area where my student with autism can complete tasks without being self-conscious of others around him, and he can take sensory breaks in the same spot. Additionally, I've created a quiet area for students to focus on reading, math, or completing their schoolwork or homework.\r\n\r\nThe printer and laminator have been incredibly helpful, especially since most of my students are visual learners. I've printed and laminated pictures for reading drills and math activities. I also created emotion charts to help my students recognize their feelings and understand that it's okay to experience them, as well as how to address those emotions.\r\n\r\nWith all your help, I was able to allow my students to select a space where they feel comfortable and let them choose the materials they would like to use during our reading or math activities.
