The sensory swing has been an enormous motivator and sensory regulator in my classroom. Oftentimes my students have to work extremely hard to focus and keep their bodies ready for learning. The sensory materials you helped provide allowed the students to get their wiggles out, re regulate, and help their bodies become ready to learn. My students are enjoying all the new books we received for our classroom. The books are supporting different levels of reading, as well as support with social emotional topics. These books are shining a light on difficult emotions, and how we can move from them back into a regulated state. Also included in this project were games to play that focus on basic reading skills.
