There's a lot of learning that they have to do socially before they're even able to begin learning academically. Our morning meeting time is one of their favorite times of the day. They come to the carpet by table and sit on their squares and they are focused and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nOur carpet coordinates with our table colors, and it is so easy for the students to understand where they have to sit. Unfortunately, we recently had a flood in our room, and the carpet had to be removed, cleaned and dried before it was returned. The time that the carpet was missing, the students were so sad. Something that most people would think is trivial has been a world of difference to the kindergartners in room 102.\r\n\r\nI am so appreciative of the support of my students by all of your donations. Students love coming up to the easel to share their thinking, draw, or contribute to class discussions, which helps build their confidence and communication skills.\r\n\r\nThe easel also supports our visual learners by providing a clear, consistent place to reference important information during lessons.
