Because of you, our students now have access to engaging tools such as markers, board games, LEGO sets, sensory fidgets, kinetic sand, marble run, magna tiles and magic model, and the impact has been immediate and meaningful.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the new resources, we have been using them daily across academic, social, and sensory-based learning. One favorite moment came during a small-group activity where students worked together to build structures using LEGO and magnetic models. This project supported math and spatial reasoning skills while also encouraging communication, turn-taking, and collaboration. Several students who are usually hesitant to participate became fully engaged, proudly explaining their designs to peers and staff.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was unmistakable. Smiles, happy movements, and spontaneous sharing filled the room. Some students gravitated toward the sensory fidgets and kinetic sand, which immediately helped them regulate and focus. Others eagerly opened board games or began drawing with the markers, expressing themselves creatively and confidently. These reactions reminded us just how powerful the right tools can be in creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment.\r\n\r\nBecause you gave us a peek into your generosity, we'd love to share what's next. Our students are currently working on a social-skills unit focused on cooperation, problem-solving, and communication. Using the board games and building materials, students will practice these skills in structured group lessons. We are also expanding a hands-on STEM project where students design and build models, strengthening fine motor skills, creativity, and persistence. Sensory tools will continue to support emotional regulation, helping students remain calm, focused, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nYour support has made a lasting difference in our classroom. The materials you provided—such as sensory toolsj(expandable breathing balls are much loved), hands-on games (mouse trap and Greedy Granny are the favorites), and learning resources —are already making a difference. Students are using these items to calm their bodies, practice appropriate social skills, and participate more successfully in learning activities. We are also using them to strengthen real-world skills that will help my students become more independent and confident in the future.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has created a more welcoming, calm, and productive classroom environment. My students have already started using and benefiting from the new materials. We have been able to start using the chart paper and markers to do a lab and record class results for comparison. Our lab was testing cups to see which type held the cold best and which type held the heat best. I used the metal cart to store all the supplies to move them around the room for students to have easier access. \r\n\r\nThe safety googles just came today so I have a full class set. I will be able to do some new labs now that I have proper safety supplies. I also received tennis balls for the bottom of chairs and the students were so happy not to hear chairs scraping across the floor. Middle school kids move a lot. \r\n\r\nMy classroom finally feels complete and ready for learning. My students will benefit all year and years to come from the supplies. Your gift is more than just a collection of stories—it is a source of empowerment, validation, and inspiration for my students.\r\n\r\nMany of my students have never seen themselves reflected in the books they read. Having access to literature that mirrors their experiences, cultures, and voices makes a profound difference in their engagement and confidence as readers.
