They also now have access to fidgets, weighted toys, and self-regulation resources such as the \"breathing pal\" that lights up giving students a visual cue to take a deep breath. These resources help give students a safe place to breathe, regroup, and feel grounded. Students who struggle to regulate their emotions are learning to feel empowered to navigate their emotions with confidence using these resources. \r\n\r\nOne of the biggest highlights has been our new \"breathing pal,\" a light-up toy that guides students through calming breaths. During our meditation time, they absolutely love watching it glow as they learn to deeply inhale and exhale. It has brought a sense of comfort, connection, and calm that we had been hoping to create.
