The space is designed for students who can not participate in regular PE. The trampoline is a great addition to this room for my students to get their much needed energy out. The room is also used for students who need sensory breaks. The impact of bouncing gives the students pressure they seek. My Prek students enjoy bouncing and laughing. Using the trampoline is also a good tool for turn-taking lessons. We use timers for the students too see when their turn is and when they have to wait.\r\n\r\nThank you for being a benefactor of such a great project. I would love to tell you a little about us. We are located about thirty minutes from Disney World, but most students have never been on a ride. We are about an hour from the beach, but most students have never felt sand between their toes. I hope that by being a kind and hardworking teacher I can provide the best for my students and make sure they have everything they need to be successful- ultimately so they can have every opportunity. \r\n\r\nWhen the packages started arriving I was a bit overwhelmed. I felt so happy for my students and knew that this would also take the burden off of their parents. My students were so excited and I had them each pick their favorite snack to enjoy while we read a book. My students are so respectful of the snacks and are helpful to ensure that students without one know where to find them. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for reminding my students that they have cheerleaders and a support team all around the world.
