My students were very happy to get and open their Hydraulic Arm.\r\n\r\nBecause of your donation, we could buy a Hydraulic Arm for each student. This lets every student work at their own speed. It helped my students meet their learning needs. It did this without lowering the quality of their work. All of the students met the learning goal. They finished the final product. The final product was a hydraulic arm that can do a certain job.\r\n\r\nYour kindness is making a real difference at Southwest Middle School. It helps our school and our students. Students used engineering skills to build something to do a certain job. They did not just build, but they also changed their designs to make their product better. Students used their engineering skills in the egg pick up and drop contest. It makes them curious and helps them solve problems. Your donations has increased student independence, imagination and creativity. My students gained confidence and social skills within their sensory areas. Most of our students can not afford their own supplies, and having their own supplies gave them a feeling of self worth and confidence. The cushions and sensory bins have allowed them to work on creative projects in a calm relaxed and safe area of the classroom while also lean how to self-regulate their behaviors and feelings.
