Because of you my students were able to build grabbers that are controlled with motors and force sensors. They had so much fun testing the two grabbers to see which one could pick up items like, blocks, popsicle sticks, paper cups, pencils, etc. They then redesigned the grabbers and tested them to see if their new design could pick up all the items. Unfortunately, we ran out of time and were not able to do the relay race with the grabbers. Next semester, when I do the activity with my 4th graders, I'm going to allow for more time, so that students can take the project further and do the relay race to see how many cups they can get into the buckets with their redesigned grabbers. \r\n\r\nWithout your generosity and support, we would not have been able to do this project!
