I created an incentive store to encourage and motivate my students in the math lab, and it has been extremely successful. My students were so excited when I replenished the incentive store, and I noticed increased enthusiasm and lesson completion. Some students completed all of the lessons tailored to their individual learning paths, and due to this success, they were able to advance to another grade level.\r\n\r\nI see each class once a week for 45 minutes. When students enter the classroom, they are required to grab their headphones, punch cards, and log on to Imagine Learning. I actively monitor student progress, and for each lesson they complete with a score of 80% or higher, they receive a punch on their card. Once students earn 10 punches, they are allowed to shop in the incentive store.\r\n\r\nThe incentive store has motivated my students so much that many of them want to come to my class and complete math lessons even when it is not their scheduled day.
