So far, students have gone CRAZY for their furry friends. I love seeing how much they enjoy having something with them that brings them comfort. In addition, I use them as a resource for when my students get upset as well. By squeezing the stuffed animals, they are able to calm themselves quickly. \r\n\r\nThe students LOVE their new friends. They ask almost everyday if they are able to use their friends. Right now, I have them using their friends to help them write. I know that having the stuffed animals has greatly increased their emotional stability. My students find a lot of joy in picking out which friend they are able to receive. \r\n\r\nAgain, thank you! My students say thanks from the bottom of their hearts. With the political climate as it is, I am happy to give students a place for them to feel welcome and safe.","fullyFundedDate":1731608124138,"projectUrl":"project/furry-friends-for-everyone/8502853/","projectTitle":"Furry Friends for Everyone!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Vail","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9596582_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x669,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1731616766305","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9596582"},{"teacherId":3069815,"projectId":7458732,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donations. Students have enjoyed getting to have a special buddy they can keep with them while they are learning all subjects. They have even taken it a step further and hidden some of their buddies around the classroom so they can have their special one for the next day. I love how my students have demonstrated that they are still kids even though they are in 5th grade. It warms my heart to see just how impactful stuffed animals can be to a child. \r\n\r\nClassroom rewards!
