Having a sound mixer has allowed our students to be able to play with a much better sound quality. Not only has this let them hear themselves better as an ensemble but it also has engaged other students in the art of sound mixing. They have learned how to balance each others sound in order to create the best possible sound during a performance. This product is very exciting as we are preparing to use it for the first time for our upcoming Black History Showcase. \r\n\r\nI have at least 3-5 students per class who have shown interested in this technology. These has specifically helped with engagement of students who are not necessarily interested in playing an instrument. Before your gift arrived, our reading nook was a cold, uninviting space with hard flooring that discouraged students from staying long. Now, the atmosphere has completely transformed. The vibrant colors and soft texture have turned our library into the most popular spot in the room, creating a warm and welcoming \"home base\" where my students feel truly valued and comfortable.\r\n\r\nThe impact on student engagement has been immediate and profound. Having a dedicated, comfortable space to sit has significantly increased the amount of time my students spend immersed in books. During independent reading time, I no longer see students shifting uncomfortably or asking to sit at their desks; instead, they are eager to curl up on the rug and get lost in a story. This carpet has provided the physical comfort necessary for them to focus on building their literacy skills and developing a genuine love for reading.\r\n\r\nBeyond just a place to sit, this carpet has fostered a stronger sense of community within our classroom. It serves as our central gathering place for morning meetings, read-alouds, and group discussions. By providing a defined space where we can all sit together eye-to-eye, you have helped create an environment of inclusivity and connection. Thank you for investing in my students' education and for providing a beautiful foundation—literally and figuratively—for their learning journey this year.","fullyFundedDate":1761517758390,"projectUrl":"project/help-complete-our-library-space/9753000/","projectTitle":"Help Complete Our Library Space!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kenny","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3457011_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1476667953066","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3457011"},{"teacherId":128841,"projectId":9432709,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation. The two-step stool has been such a big help during lessons; students love using it to reach the board and confidently share their writing, reading, or math work with the class. I've also been using the laminating sheets to create durable vocabulary cards and center materials that students handle daily. \r\n\r\nStudents immediately wanted to try the stool and practice writing on the board. Others were amazed at how the laminated vocabulary cards looked and felt. The zip-lock bags made them feel very organized; they loved having a place to store cutting pieces from activities they hadn't finished. All of these everyday tools help our classroom run smoothly, allowing students to stay engaged and independent throughout the day.\r\n\r\nThe non-everyday materials are just as essential to our classroom.
