They kept asking \"what is in all of those\"? These are very inquisitive five and six year-olds. We had only been in school four days and we have boxes that are as tall as they are being brought in by our custodian had them wondering.\r\nThe following Monday when the students came in to the classroom and saw this table set up with cushion like chairs for them to use their wonder turned into excitement and awe. They immediately sat on the chairs and tried out the fit of the table height. Everyone got a turn to try out using the table and being comfortable doing different activities. \r\nWe are only in week four of our school year so we have not been able to use the table and chairs for much yet but so far it has made an amazing indoor recess plus plus station, a nice space for quiet iPad work, a small group table for letter work, and a nice sorting table for math. \r\nI cannot wait to keep using this table and chairs through the year and I know my students are just as excited to see what we use it for next!","fullyFundedDate":1746480194033,"projectUrl":"project/floor-seat-for-sure/9078089/","projectTitle":"Floor Seat For Sure!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Theeuwes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2964505_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1711550289975","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2964505"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_20213","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":165,"numTeachers":17,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":25,"percentWhite":43,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":20,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"9.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":65.9,"schoolId":20213,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about George W Julian Elementary School 57 on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"George W Julian Elementary School 57","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/indiana/indianapolis-public-school-district/george-w-julian-elementary-school-57/20213"}
