For many of our students, this is the first time they have been able to participate in a competitive extracurricular activity that truly reflects their interests and strengths. Students who may not traditionally join athletics or clubs have found a space where they feel confident, valued, and capable.\r\n\r\nThe gaming systems have allowed us to:\r\n\r\nCreate a structured, supervised team environment focused on teamwork and sportsmanship\r\n\r\nTeach digital citizenship and responsible online communication\r\n\r\nDevelop strategic thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills\r\n\r\nIncrease school engagement for students who previously felt disconnected\r\n\r\nWe have already seen students build friendships across grade levels, improve attendance on practice days, and demonstrate leadership skills that were not always visible in the classroom setting. The excitement around the ESports team has generated positive energy throughout the building.\r\n\r\nYour support has not just provided equipment — it has created community. You have helped give our students a place to belong, compete, and grow.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of our entire school community, thank you for believing in our students and investing in their potential.","fullyFundedDate":1768404468777,"projectUrl":"project/esports-start-for-scorpions/9739122/","projectTitle":"ESports Start for Scorpions","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Arroyo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4036180_orig.jpg?crop=1242,1242,x0,y140&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758388921794","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/arroyoreading"},{"teacherId":4036180,"projectId":9139862,"letterContent":"Thank you for bringing these charging stations to the classrooms at Scott Middle School.
