I received the Sphero Bolt Robots in September. \r\n\r\nTypically, I borrow a set of 25 Sphero Bolts from the school district. However, some of these are no longer able to hold a charge or connect to the students' devices due to years of use by multiple classes. I'm so thankful I had five brand-new Sphero Bolts this time—everyone was able to participate, and there were no issues.\r\n\r\nI've included a few pictures of my students working on the obstacle courses, which they completed by coding their robots. They had a week to finish the various courses in pairs during the month of January. This gave them the opportunity to work as a team and engage in problem-solving.\r\n\r\nI saw some students take on leadership roles that are usually more reserved or laid back. I paired my Spanish-speaking students with others who could help with translation, and they really enjoyed the physical computing activities. One of my students with Autism was able to interact with and assist students who were stuck, which made him feel included.\r\n\r\nI am expanding and putting together more physical computing activities for my students to use the Sphero Bolts. My plan is to have at least 10 lessons with activities for students to complete through out the school year.","fullyFundedDate":1750168931198,"projectUrl":"project/take-over-the-world-by-coding-with-class/9350813/","projectTitle":"Take Over the World by Coding With Classroom Robots","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. R.
