In 2020, I had the opportunity to teach from home. I had been teaching online for the last 5 years. Therefore, I donated many of my teacher supplies. This is my first year back in building and boy is it expensive. Your donations are greatly appreciated and have really allowed me to continue to do great things with my littles and keep kinder, KIDER! \r\n\r\nLet me tell you a little bit more about my kiddos. I work at a very transient school. I currently have 18 intelligent, high energy kindergartners from all over the country. Our school is located right outside of a military base so we primarily serve this military community. It is such an honor to be able to teach these students and give back to this population. \r\n\r\nThis project helped me provide and replace headphones to my class. Students are able to read/ listen to books on their tablets in a quiet and peaceful environment. While students are completing reading and math assignments online independently I am able to successfully pull small groups and work with students. The art supplies are a huge hit and use them in some form almost daily. Especially on FUN Friday when we get to do one big art craft to change our bulletins. Most recently we brought our Native American unit to life by painting a beautiful sunset with the watercolors and made teepees with the construction paper, glue, and crayons. These are just a couple of examples of how you have made an impact in our classroom. There are so many other ways. \r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you so much for your generosity. I hope you feel our gratitude all the way from our classroom. We appreciate you.","fullyFundedDate":1760656599169,"projectUrl":"project/creative-littles/9788345/","projectTitle":"Creative Littles","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Galan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5877288_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754083725979","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5877288"},{"teacherId":3876246,"projectId":9504156,"letterContent":"My students feel so much more confident to come to the front of the room to sit on the rug and work in front of the board.
