After completing kindergarten completely online, my class, as well as students all across the world, needed to sharpen their social skills and remember how to play and be kids again! As you can see from the project photos, the wooden train set was a huge hit for my students. They love building intricate railways and incorporating what they are learning in STEM class. Another class favorite has to be the soft blocks, as you can see in the project photos, they truly bring out the kids' creativity and architecture skills. \r\nMy students were absolutely elated to see these toys get delivered. They loved learning about the animals on the farm, the barn, and all of the jobs the farmers and their families do. The children loved playing with the barn, tractor, and the animal toys. They enjoyed using the flannel board to reenact The Little Red Hen and Old MacDonald Had a Farm. \r\nThey also loved using the finger puppets to reenact Old Mac Donald. \r\nWe will be planting the seeds this spring and watch how they grow and talk about the things they need to grow.
