The students have really enjoyed all of the new board books with visual boards, as well as, lift the flap books. I use these books within a language based circle time each day. Using these shorter books with visuals or lift the flap options really gives all students a way to engage and communicate. With your donations I am able to switch out these books every week which keeps things new and fresh. The books may be related to the seasonal theme or a specific skill that we are working on. In the pictures that I uploaded you will see students lifting flaps to find Spot the dog. Students would answer \"yes\" or \"no\" if we found Spot while also working on position words like \"behind, in, and under\".","fullyFundedDate":1765725491291,"projectUrl":"project/if-you-give-a-preschooler-interactive-ma/9956986/","projectTitle":"If You Give a Preschooler Interactive Materials They Will Learn","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Colleen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10383121"},{"teacherId":9140478,"projectId":9612981,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for all of the generous donations to this amazing and impactful project! Having the spin chair allowed students to have a break when needed. It provided a space for them to reset, and continue to learn throughout their day. The couch chair also gave students a preferred seating method instead of having to sit on the floor or in a desk chair. \r\n\r\nWhen the materials were brought to the room, immediately two students wanted to go onto the couch chair. The couch chair is a comfy way for students to sit independently and stay in their seat for a longer duration. The addition of the dividers have helped the classroom so much in many ways!\r\n\r\nThe dividers have allowed students to have a \"break space,\" to take time for themselves when they need a moment! They have helped us divide the classroom to allow students to work in a small group setting or 1:1 setting. Lastly, the dividers have helped us with transitions. The dividers help us block off areas of the classroom and hallway to allow students to get to their destinations without difficulty. \r\n\r\nWhen the dividers arrived the students were so happy and even help staff when its time for them tk be moved around!
