This simple but powerful upgrade has completely changed how we make music together. Instead of switching instruments or crowding around a single keyboard, students can now clearly see and hear demonstrations while actively participating. One especially meaningful moment was during a recent lesson on melody and harmony, when students took turns playing simple chord patterns on one keyboard while I modeled melodic ideas on the other. When they first saw the new setup, their faces lit up—they were immediately curious, excited, and eager to try it out, proudly calling it our \"music workstation.\"\r\nBy contributing to this project, you gave our students a peek into what real musicians use every day, and it has inspired them to think more creatively and independently. Moving forward, students will continue using both keyboards as we explore accompaniment, improvisation, and ensemble playing. In upcoming lessons, they will work in small groups to create short musical pieces, layering melodies and chords while building listening and collaboration skills. The impact that these items have had has been noticeable. The vibrant colors of the construction paper and all the pre-cut pieces of tissue paper have really added to our projects. The small squares of tissue paper have also help to cut down on waste - too often students would take large pieces of tissue paper and then only use a small section, but throw the rest away. The squares come in so many colors and the student take just the right amount to create their project. \r\n My 4th grade students are just gearing up to do a major build with the cardboard for an energy project. I am sure that it will be wonderful. I am happy that I have not had to cute a ton of boxes up into pieces. The playdough has been used by my younger grade levels for several projects, but I think that project that had the most smiles and excitement was when we used the playdough to make shapes when we were learning about solids. \r\n I cannot thank you enough for your generosity in supporting my classroom.
