They are learning more about different Native American tribes and cultures. They learned things that have never been taught or talked about. The boarding schools were a big eye-opener for our younger students. The younger students have only heard a little bit about the boarding schools, mostly from the discovery of the bodies found recently in the news. I was able to complete my project of Art tied into Literacy using the book, The Dot. \r\n Our new moto is nothing is a mistake, keep going and see the beauty of what you thought was a mistake.\r\nSome students were able to bring rocks into class to paint on and others created dot artwork in other ways.
