One special moment that stood out was during partner reading time—students who previously struggled to stay engaged were able to remain focused for longer periods, building both their confidence and fluency. It has been incredible to see how these simple changes have created a more supportive and productive learning environment.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their excitement was immediate and contagious! They were eager to try everything and quickly began talking about which tools helped them feel their best. Beyond the excitement, what has been most meaningful is how these items are helping students regulate their bodies and emotions. They are more comfortable, more focused, and better able to participate in lessons throughout the day. The headphones, in particular, have been a game-changer during independent work time, allowing students to minimize distractions and truly concentrate.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we are continuing to build on our confidence and prepare for the next grade ahead. With these new resources in place, students are better equipped to fully engage in activities like repeated reading, partner practice, and comprehension discussions. They love to sit and watch the fish and it is very calming when they need some quiet time.
